CAUTION: Don't attempt this without writing down usernames and passwords! You will need an ID.me account to sign into your IRS account. For those needing to amend a tax return due to missing W-2 income, or those needing prior year returns, once you are in your IRS account. You will need to obtain your income statements for the relevant year. I can read those papers and any IRS Letters you may have received. I know how to respond to them in the manner they require, saving you much time and frustration. I can't help you unless you can access your records or go to the IRS and get them.

If you need me to print & mail the 1099s for your Contract Laborers that you, as a Business Owner, must issue if you have paid anyone $600 or more during the year

If you are Self-Employed and want me to do your taxes, I will need a copy of the last return you filed.

If you want to file electronically, you need last year's tax return, along with your bank routing and account numbers.

Tip: Each year is independent from the next.
